URBAN CABINS IS NOW A SEPARATE BUSINESS AND WILL HAVE A NEW SET UP & ITS OWN WEBSITE SOON. PLEASE LOOK HERE FOR A LINK IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

Each cabin is unique and individually built at Park Mews by myself.  The Cabins are Carbon Negative due to their build components. They all are made with a minimum of 95% reclaimed materials and have a majority of antique wooden components. Decorative additions and finishes come from beautifully restored Georgian & Victorian windows and doors with some from ecclesiastical reclamation. The floors are either wooden boards or plywood sheets sanded and routed to give a vintage planked feel. The walls are plaster board, plywood or chip board that has been painted in water based emulsion. Insulation between the walls is composed of a majority of Earthwool, ( made from recycled bottles ), or expanded foam insulation, ( building site over orders ),  and provides a minimum of 60mm up to 120mm thickness , depending on both the interior and exterior cladding of the wall panels.  The exterior wood is treated with pest repellant and natural oils to keep it waterproof and rot free. The roofs are covered in waterproof membranes or metallic and plastic sheets and sealed. They can then be clad in living surfaces.  More details are available on request.
